Happy Friday Trinity Catholic Families! We began our first full day together with a blessing of our book-bags with Holy Water and celebrating an all school Mass. Our beloved Father Andrzej reminded us at Mass that students are like a blank notebook; ready to be filled with knowledge, faith and understanding. He pointed out that our teachers and parents are like the Bible. We possess the knowledge, understanding and are ready and eager to share it all with our students! Here's to a wonderful year full of learning and growing, not only in our knowledge of academics, but also that we grow together in our faith as well!
School News:
Cafeteria Updates:
There have been some policy updates in regards to the cafeteria and lunches.
First, the cut off time to order a hot lunch from the cafeteria is 9:00am daily! If you know your child will be late to school-please either send them with a packed lunch or preorder your hot lunch through your FACTS Family Portal!
FACTS will email you a message when your child's lunch account goes below $5.00. If your child's lunch account goes unpaid past $50, he/she will no longer be able to purchase a hot lunch at school. You will be required to send your child to school with a packed lunch until the account has been brought to a zero balance.
Today, your oldest child should be bringing home the Free and Reduced Lunch Forms. I encourage EVERYONE to complete this form and return it to school ASAP! The more students we have signed up for this program the more state dollars we collect! This is what helps us to provide additional services such as nurses, tutors, textbooks, etc. Our school thanks you in advance!
The August Lunch Menu is attached to this email.
Home & School News:
Our Trinity Catholic Home and School Association will hold their first meeting on September 11th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Childcare will be provided.
I have attached a couple of documents about this organization and how you can become involved! Trinity Catholic requires that all parents take an active part in your child's school and you can meet these volunteer requirements by becoming involved in this important association. We need our parent volunteers! So, get active and get involved! We can't do it without you!
TITANS TOGETHER PRAYER LINE:
At Trinity, we believe that we are better together in all that we do, especially in prayer! We all have things in our lives that we want to thank God for or ask Him for help with and this Trinity family wants to lift these requests up in prayer. Simply submit your prayer request by clicking the link here: https://docs.google.com/forms/
Then each Friday, I will include a copy of the Titans Together Prayer Line. I would encourage you to print this off at home and use it throughout the next week to keep these special intentions of our community in your thoughts and prayers! The only thing better than 1 prayer is 200 prayers! Mother Mary, pray for us!
Athletic Department:
Grades K-3 Soccer signups with OLPH will be open until Sept 1. The cost is $50. And the first game will be at the end of Sept. This is open to all students K-3 grade. Please register your child using the link below:

Upcoming Events:
8/28: Meet the Teacher Nite begins in the cafeteria at 6:15pm. You will have an opportunity after some brief remarks, to visit each of your child's classrooms and hear from the teacher about the curriculum, expectations, daily schedules, etc. This is a great time to ask questions you may have. These classroom visits will end at 7:15 at which time we invite all of our new families to Trinity, to join us back in the cafeteria for a new family orientation. We will review our school's policies and procedures and provide you with useful information regarding our school as a whole!
Please note, this is a PARENT ONLY EVENT! There will not be child care available for this event!
9/1: First Friday Spirit Day AND Cereal Morning! Students are free to wear their Trinity Catholic Spirit shirts to school. I will be sending you all a link to purchase these various items shortly. Please look for that in a separate email. Our 8th grade students will be serving cereal on the first Friday for any student who wishes to buy a bowl. Each bowl is a $1 and there are a wide variety of cereals to choose from! In order for your child to have plenty of time to eat, we ask that you drop off your child between 7:30 and 7:45am!
Thank you for all you do to support Catholic education here at Trinity Catholic School!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Angie Eisenacher, Principal
