Friday Fanfare

Friday Fanfare

March 23, 2018

Dear Trinity Families,

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, the final Sunday of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week. It commemorates the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, just days before he was crucified. During Palm Sunday Mass, blessed palms are distributed to parishioners. Many people will fold them into small crosses, braid them, or slide them behind a picture at home. At our house, they sit on our mantel. These may be returned to the church, or kept for the year, just do not discard them as they are blessed. The colors of the Mass on Palm Sunday are red and white which symbolize the redemption in blood that Christ paid for the world. The holiest days of our church year are almost here!

With God’s blessings,

            Kimber Moehrman, Principal
